They need to be reprogrammed. You can take the car and the remotes with you to a dealership and have them reprogrammed. Make sure to take both remotes with you.

and never tried sitting in car and starting it the NORMAL
way. that be first.
to remote start any factory car fitting out with this bs.
one must have what>?
1: starts the normal way. logical no?
2: for remote to work a good remote battery. (make the transmitter work and buttons on fob)
3: the car must not be in ALARM for any reasons.
there is a huge list of reasons, like, door ajar. and a large list.
if you scan the PCM in the car it tells you all this. OBD2 scans.
that is to protect you from injuring others.
It must be safe to remote start or it will not.

Our keyless remote stoped working on our 2007 chevy impala. we put a new battery in and proceded to reprogram it according to directions, it still will not work. is it that we just need a new remote or...

If your vehicle accepted the programming codes, then it tells me that your vehicle sensing is working and that your remote worked at least during that period.

Whenever, you change batteries in a remote you should clean the battery and remote contacts with a pencil eraser to get rid of an corrosion.

Remote key does not open /close door lock

Hi.
It seems that the remote key need a battery change. replace the batteri inside the remote key.

If this is not curing the problem you might be in the situation where the transmitter (remote key) or the receiver (car) is defect.
In this case you need help from Suzuki.

Good luck

Remote key fob does not unlock or lock car

It may just be a battery problem. Replace the battery of your remote fob. If it will not work, try to reposition the controller beneath the dashboard.
