All Honda 4 cylinder engines that I have worked on have a firing order of 1342. That is the firing order on your CRX. #1 is the cylinder closest to the timing belt.

check engine light codes. if its vtec. there is your problem.

Problem fixed--bad distributor

In all cars I had the O2 sensor is in the exhaust pipe just down from the exhaust manifold. Some cars have two O2 sensors. The second one is farther down the exhaust pipe.

go get the battery and the alternater tested. its free at like auto zone and it covers your bases before spending lots of $.

47 FT LBS TORQUE.is for the 1.5 and 1.6 engines 2.2 is 78 ft lbs and the 2.0 -2.1 is 49 ft lbs. the crx engine is 47 ft lbs

what kind of engine did you put in it?

You need a new thermostat if you haven't replaced it lately.
They go bad after a while and its very possible that its broken because its tendency when broken is to not be able to control how much to cool the engine and how hot to keep it.
