check the spare and look at your dash display if the 4 tires are around the same pressure and none have 2 dashes instead of a number it you have a dash your tpi tire pressure indicator has malfunction if it did it will have to be replaced before light will reset
Hi, check all tire pressures, they need to be as close as possible to what the door panel/jam list for recommend inflation psi. If not this service tire monitor will light on dash.
Hi,If your Hyundia is at least a 2007 or above it most likely has a TPMS(Tire Pressure Monitoring System) and a low tire lite on the dash. The spare tires don't have a TPMS sensor in them. Have your original tire repaired of the flat, when you put the stock wheel and tire back on the car at a proper inflation of at least 32-35psi, the low tire pressure lite should go out soon after.
This is your tire pressure monitoring system. Check the spare tire also. Some cars have a full size spare tire with a sensor in the tire as well. If all tires have the correct pressure then drive the car for a few minutes and see if the light goes out. if not then the vehicle will have to checked in a repair shop for further problems in the system.
just get a tire pressure gauge and check it they are usually going off in cold weather like this. on the drivers side door it will tell you what pressure you need.
also if the light is blinkin when you start your car then goes solid you have a tpms sensor issue that needs to be addressed by a dealer because it lost connection.
My 2004 Lexus LS 430 has had the light come on several times, even after changing all four tires. There are no tire pressure sensors on my four tires. I was told the car computes tire rotations and since a low pressure tire takes more rotations than a fully inflated tire, the computer puts up a message on the dash. To reset/turn off the message, put the emergency brake on, start the car and reach below the dash to the right side of your steering column until you feel two buttons in a depressed area under the dash. One button turns on /off your smart key and the other will turn off your tire low pressure message. Depress and hold until the message on your dash goes out and you are good to go. I know this works, I just reset mine a few minutes ago.
