I need a picture of the serpentine belt routing diagram so i can put a new belt on. the car is a 1999 nissan altima

That isn't the way to do it. You should have a bypass pulley, which keeps the route and the angles and the same length belt.

This was a very good diagram to help me and my uncle put on the serpentine belt after replacing the alternator

The diagram on a Nissan Altima will be located on the left rear side of the hood; 1995 Nissan Altima uses two drive belts to power the engine accessories.

Print out a diagram of your belt system. If you cannot find it online take a clear picture of the diagram under your hood and print the picture out (click image for zoom)...

you call it the serpentine belt, we call it the fanbelt.it,needs tightening,slightly loosen the alternator, then pull away from engine and tighten belt, tight enough when you can move longest part of the belt, between pulleys, 1/2 inch in/out.
if squeel re occurs fit new belt.
