I think it's at least not a bad deal.
I fix all my own cars, but I go to valvoline or wherever to get my oil changes because not only do they change the oil, they also change the filter AND properly dispose of the oil too.
Your truck probably takes between 5-8 quarts of oil at 4-5$ a quart, plus a filter, that's another 5-10 bucks, that's almost 50$ right there.
Plus the convenience of having somebody else do it!
I personally don't think you would save any money, but if you like doing things yourself, I understand the satisfaction you get after all the hours of swearing like a drunken sailor!
You need 11 quarts of oil. Are you buying $1/quart oil, or synthetic $3/quart? I am sure the "deal" is not synthetic oil but since they buy it in bulk (55 gallon drums) they probably pay 50 cents a quart......
Same goes for an oil filter - a cheaper $5 one, or a $15+.
I have a Xterra, I buy 5 quarts synthetic and the higher priced filters so each oil change is $30. The quick change places can be $20 but since I use synthetic I go longer between oil changes so the price per mile is lower, I don't have to deal with oil changes as often, and synthetic is supposedly better (but I have taken 2 cars to 200,000 miles on regular oil at quick change oil shops). Plus I hear too many horror stories about simple oil changes gone wrong.
So if you don't mind working on your truck - do it yourself.
That is a really good deal..it would cost you almost that much to buy the oil and filter to do it yourself
