Code po603 - F-350 Super Duty Ford Cars & Trucks

Start by charging the vehicles battery and clean terminal, once the battery is charged and the terminals are clean and secure, erase code. If the code comes back ON you may have to reprogram or replaced ECM/PCM

Starter was compromised and power to the solenoid was either shunted or under powered.

problem PCM,bad connection [corroded] battery,water,maybe need new PCM,PO603,PO140.Coils and module,spark plugs.

P1280 Injector Control Pressure Sensor Circuit Low
P0541 Intake Air Heater A Circuit Low

po603 is pcm keep alive memory error. either have pcm tested or replace pcm. because the pcm is at fault.

Code 603 means the power to the PCM has been interrupted. This can be due to the plug-in connectors having corrosion or being loose.

Your model may have a label showing the location of the components. You can also try Autozone or Oreillys for a picture of the component. Ask if your year model has a relay for this part. If it does, its most likely the relay.

P0603 Internal Control Module Keep Alive Memory (KAM) Error

Ford dealer Tech said to check for corrosion on the battery terminals, if
they’re good the check each battery individually to see if all cells are good.
If that still doesn’t solve it, he says to start pin testing the computer ????!!!??

P0603 doesn’t always mean you have a problem, if you are running any kind
of chip, programmer ,etc. you will get that code.

If the Keep Alive Power (KAPWR) has been interrupted by a dead or disconnected battery, code P0603 may set on the first power-up. If this is the case, simply erase the code and see if it comes back.

If this is not the case, then the circuit between the battery and the KPWR terminal on the PCM must be inspected for an open. This circuit is hot all the times even with everything shut off.

If you need more specific info like fuse location, wire color, terminal number, etc. I would need to know what engine you have.

The battery must have been disconnected at some time to set po603 keep alive memory. You will need a scan tool to reset computer.
