Raise the tilt wheel to the upper position
Remove the lower philips screws securing the upper and lower clamshells on the column.
Release the top and bottom clamshells from one another by pressing together where they meet.
Unplug the electrical connector from the back of the turn signal stalk

Early 2000 eclipses:
Remove two philips screws bolting the signal stalk base to the column

Late 2000 eclipses:
Squeeze the top and bottom release levers to release the signal stalk base from the column

Pull the stalk and base straight outward to remove from the column.

Installation is the reverse.

How do you change the km/h to mph on a 2006 Mitsubishi eclipse

Not your question, but you might like to have this:

Supposedly the owners manual (perhaps you have it) tells you how to change the speedometer.. it involves turning the car off and holding a button on the dash in and turning the ignition on and continue holding the button for > 5 seconds

My 1999 mitsubishi eclipse turn signal flashers wont work but the emergancy flashers do

Sounds like the bulbs have burned out, you will probably have to replace them. Most auto parts stores can point you at the right bulb for your car, and some can even show you how to replace it.

1995 Mitsubishi Eclipse flasher

Start by checking the fuses then move to the light bulbs. If those are ok check the flasher switch and then the turn signal switch. More than likely you will need to replace the flasher switch.
