Turn signals not flashing on a 1998 Old Intrigue,

start by checking fuses or the turn signal relay itself

That box holds fuses and relays. The clicking comes from the relays both when each relay is activated and deactivated. This is perfectly normal.

Turn one of your turn signals on. Notice that the clicking sound coincides with the turn signal lights flashing.

Look at you owner's manual, it should tell you where the fuse box is located.

It happened to my 98 Intrigue. It stopped as soon as I changed the sockets. It is very simple to do this, just pull it out the the plug from the connector about 4 inches from the socket. I got used ones at the junk yard, 2 bucks a piece. Been working fine for almost 2 years.

either your fuse is blown for the automatic headlamps or the relay is bad (consult your manual)

flasher relay(in fuse block)weak.also check for other burned out bulbs.

This fast flash is caused by a burnt out bulb in the front or rear.

probably need to change the thermal flashed. It should be in the fuse panel. The fuse panel is usually located in the dash just to the left of where your knee is located. The flasher is a small metal can that unplugs.

If you look under the dash, you'll see the part hanging off the wiring harness or it may be plugged in at or near the fuse block. You'll be looking under the driver side of the dash.
