Sounds like your heater core is leaking
heater core is inside the car under glove compartment in back of center console
it has a discharge hose that comes out the firewall, when heater core
leaks it comes out from that hose.

heater core is not expensive, mostly is labor which might take a couple of hours to replace.

My 02 cad deville leaking coolant from some sort of bypass hose located toward the back of compartment drivers side

Many Caddys have/had small "radiators" for heat to the rear passengers located under the front seats. Most shops (or owners) never check them or know they exist.

Locate the tensioner pulley on passenger side of motor Usually towards the back and on lower part of motor. Insert a 3/8" breaKER bar into the square in the tensioner and push towards the back of the motor to loosen belt. Pull belt off alternator of other small pulley. Which way does the filter go in on a 4 barrell carb chevy 305 motor none was in there and nor sure which in goes in first one side has a black like washer and the other side is solid flat

When you put the air cleaner (filter)opening/air intake should point towards the front passenger's corner where the radiator support and the fender meet. About six inches back towards the windshield on the right hand side there should be about a quarter sized hole in the air cleaner. There should be an elbow tube that goes to the passenger's side valve cover, from that black grommet hole.

How do i put the (oat) coolant into the freelander 1999 model? thanks cathy

You have to put it in the (coolant reservoir) round clear bottle by on the passenger side of the engine compartment. There is no radiator cap. If you are completely replasing the coolant; you have to bleed the system by opening a black plastic bleeder screw on the heater hose black plastic elbow towards the firewall drivers side.

Audi TT Intermittent headlight

Did exactly as you said, replaced both bulbs with the d2s as you said and got them on ebay, driver side was clearly more difficult to put in, passenger side very easy, worked perfect for 1 day and the intermittent problem returned. What to do.

Replacing headlight

Disconnect the battery terminals, remove the fuse box cover and unbolt the square coolant tank on the passenger side of the car and move it off to the side.

For the driver side headlight, turn the wheel to the passenger side and remove or just drop inner fender liner. About a dozen little plastic rivets and 2 metal screws holding on mudguard. You really don't have to unscrew the screws holding the fender liner to the bottom of the front bumper you can just pull it down to access the back of the headlight.

DO NOT disconnect any of the hoses on the coolant tank or try to remove it from the car, just put it to the side.

Now you've got room to get your hands into where they need to go. You'll notice that there is a circular plastic cover on the housing behind the low beams. These each will unscrew and pop off. Once you take these off it is a simple matter of removing and replacing the bulb.

The bulb is held in by a metal latch. It is a wire that looks like a loop off a paper clip. disconnect by just push down and inwards (toward the middle of the car) on it and it'll pop up. Pivot it up out of the way and the bulb will pull right out. (actually, they both push towards the left if you are standing in front of the car looking at the headlights)

Replace the bulb and make sure you note how the old bulb was installed as it will only go back in one way. ALSO make sure you do not touch the bulb itself as the oil from your skin will cause the bulb to have hot spots and burn out sooner.

Reverse the process for the install making sure you get the metal tabs to latch in properly and make sure you secure the circular covers back onto the headlight housing. Also make sure you securely reattach the coolant tank and put the fuse box cover back on.
