2006 VW jetta TDI driver door electronics will not work- no lock, no mirror adjust, no driver window movement. What to do?

This sounds like a bad control or broken wire inside the door, you will need to remove the door panel and check for broken wires, also remove the controls and make sure all connectors are connected good and tight, this is where i would start also just check all of the fuses.

I have a vw 2005 1/2 jetta tdi and the driver door shut but nothing on it works, like the windows, locks and it also does not read that the door is shut. Can you help me?

try looking between the front door jam and the door that is where the connection point is for the door electronics. you might have to pull the kick panel there to see if the door bulkhead connector has worked it's way loose as it did on mine

Had same problem. my mechanic found the problem. you have two choices, first is the wiring in the door jam can be entirely replaced to the tune of 200 bucks just for the part! Second, you pull back the wire boot and repair the broken wires.
