This manual contains on-vehicle service and diagnosis for the Mazda6. For proper repair and maintenance, a thorough familiarization with this manual is ...
If they lock after you start to drive forward...and automatically unlock when you stop and place gear shift in park...that is a safety design...Many car builders use this, with certain variables as to when to auto lock, and auto unlock...if the locks are working on there own after you have started driving...that is another problem. Your owners manual should address how the locks in your Mazda 6 are designed to work. Hope this helps.
look inside the engine bay behind the light in question, the large plug with wires coming from the back of it in the middle of the light needs to be removed with the large rubber seal.
once removed you will see a spring type clip, you have to push it down and move it to the side to release it from the retaining groove in the metal sorround, once that is done you should be able to remove the halogen bulb from the light, on the bulb it will have numbers like 12V55W, these will not be the same numbers on your bulb unless it was a lucky guess by me but it will give you an idea as to what size bulb you have to buy to replace the old one
the 12V means 12 Volts and the 55W means 55 Watts, if the watts are not the same you will have one light brighter or duller than the other
Clutch problems are common with the Mazda 6...usually a shudder starts then slippage occurs. Many owners have had theirs replaced under warranty. Recommend you get an aftermarket complete clutch kit, when you replace it...the OEM clutch is not dependable. Good luck...i hope this helps.

I have the exact problem and have my owners manual in front of me. Per the owners manual, the fust for the cigarette lighter is under the glovebox and number 43. The fuse to replace it with is 15A
