If it is 4 wheel drive you need to put all in neutral, if it is a auto i would pull the driveshaft. just to be on the safe side.

How can I tow a 1999 dodge intrepid

It would work best on a tow dolly. I imagine that has an automatic transmission. Its a front wheel drive so you want the drive tires off the ground if you want the least amount of grief. *** Make sure your dolly swivels or you will be sorry.

I have a 2001 Ford Taurus and want to tow it behind my motor home. Can this be down on all 4 wheels without a transmission cooler?

It cannot be towed if it is an automatic, you will need a dolly to have the front wheels of the ground and not turning if it's a auto, because the engine won't be running the oil pump in the tranny won't be supplying any oil hence it will run dry in a matter of minutes, I can't stress more if it's a auto then don't tow, have the drive wheels on a dolly so they aren't driving

Can I tow my 2002 grand caravan es on all 4 tires?

The answer is yes and no, but more no than yes. How far do you need to tow the vehicle? It is not recommended that any vehicle with automatic transmission be towed more than a few miles. With an auto transmission, towing without the engine running will not allow fluid to circulate throughout transmission, causing major damage to the gears in the transmission. If possible, use a tow dolly instead of towing on all four wheels.

How do i tow a 2006 mazda6 behind a motorhome

You'll have to put it on a dolly. Automatic transmissions do not take kindly to being towed because they don't get lubricated. The oil pump in an automatic trans runs off the input shaft, so the engine has to be running. Hope this helps.
