Call the Chevy dealer, even if you didn't buy it new or there. Also, and I learned this from experience, once an AC/Delco battery has been run down, they very often never work right again. I have bought 3 replacement batteries over the years because AC/Delco batteries are junk (fine unless you run them down).

Please help with this autowatch 4 door closer system

  1. Check the wiring: Make sure that all of the wiring connected to the door closer system is properly connected and secure. Check for any loose or frayed wires that may have been disconnected during the battery disconnect.
  2. Reset the system: Try resetting the system by disconnecting the battery again and holding the brake pedal down for 30 seconds. Then reconnect the battery and see if the system starts working properly.
  3. Check the fuses: Check the fuses associated with the door closer system to ensure they are not blown.
  4. Contact a professional: If you are unable to resolve the issue on your own, contact a professional who specializes in car alarm systems to diagnose and repair the problem.
If you still cannot get the door closer system to function properly, it may be necessary to have it serviced or replaced.
