I had the same problem. It's the blinker switch in the steering column.
You'll need to pull the steering wheel, any cheapo s/w puller will do.
Unscrew the turn signal lever from the steering column. Replace part.
Worked like a champ for me.
Thats a tough one,try removing the taillights and check the grounds, where they screw to the box, clean off any rust on both the box and the wire,if they still dont work properly check the ground wire underneath the back of the box somewhere by the bumper. Then check the wire whips coming from both sides where they connect together at the junction, some wires inside the wrap may be corroded together shorting together.Im not sure what color wire goes where,i do know dark brown is for parking lamps,i think there is 2 black wires as well,1 of them is ground for the lights, check each wire with a tester or light tester with the turn signal switch on 1 direction then note it it,move on to the next wire and so on.The brake lights work off both of the signal light wires, and of course brown is parking(taillight)
SOURCE: turn signal lights not working.
The 2 filament on the LH Front turn signal is most likely burned out, ...........or the ground to it, & the entire socket needs replaced. Caution lights, send signals to ALL FRONT & REAR lights. All turn signal lights must be in working order, as it is a "pulsating" currect surge sent to the bulbs, LH or RH, depending which direction you wisk to turn. If 1 filament is broken, the circuit is incomplete, & no flash will occur. Usually you will get one light that stays on, & the front or rear missing lighting, is the one whichis the culpret.
I would check your headlight relay switch that is located in your steering colum
