SOURCE: two -heater not working/ dashboard lights not working

make sure the vehicle isn't over heating. if not the heater core may be stopped up. can check hoses going into and out of heater core. make sure both are hot. if inlet is hot, and outlet is hose is cold, the heater core is stopped

SOURCE: 2003 Kia Optima - Dashboard Lights not working.

if you have aftermarket lights hooked up to the dash light it has been known to smoke the rheostat that controls the dimmer. I would also check the other fuses, sometimes the cluster refers to the guages themselves and not the lights that illuminate them

SOURCE: I can`t find the fuse for the dashboard lights on my 2000 jetta.

First, make sure it's not that your dimmer switch has been turned all the way down.
Check fuse 22 and 23. If they're good then you may have a bad ground somewhere. Check the board and fuse box under the battery (yes, I know - but thats where vw located it) for corrosion.

SOURCE: 1991 Chevy Blazer dashboard lights are burned out. Can't read

Your dash needs to come out. These bulbs push into a plastic piece that "twists" into the back of the dash board. (About a 1/4 turn) Unless you can get at them from underneath, but I think it's to tight.

Jeep grand Cherokee lights come on but all the dashboard gages doesn't read right thay read that the car has nothing on

lights come on, what lights? 50 lamps on car, which?
gauges dead.
so you blew one of 2 cluster lights.
no year car stated. so cant wax smarter.
cars are different by year, model, engine, size(trans), and country
non of which are even hinted.

in all cases, check fuse first.
if it keeps blowing that is another matter (shorts)

For expedition 99, my dashboard light doesn't work anymore, I've tried finding what fuse to replace but unable to locate problem.

There are two fuse's , one is in the under hood fuse /relay center or as ford calls it Battery junction block and one in the central junction block Blown fuse(s): Battery junction box (BJB) Fuse 6 (15A) and central junction box (CJB) Fuse 18 (5A ,on the lids are the # locations .Are you saying that nothing lights , radio, heater controls , back lighting for the instrument cluster . No check engine light, or any other warning lights . Do all the gauges work ? CJB is located left side of dash . Check the fuse's ! 25309735-p0bbf4gezpmb21wjojjnal1o-3-3.gif

MY DASHBOARD LIGHTS AND GAUGES WONT COME ON

It sounds like either a blown fuse, or a relay. If replacing the fuse, be sure to check all surrounding wiring and look for burned wire, loose connections, dangling wires, you should repair this problem before popping in another fuse. Good Luck

Dashboard lights goes off when headlights are on and the gauges has stopped working

Check the fuse box, might have a bad one, if not, could be the dimmer switch is going bad

Gauges on Dashboard

Are the dash lights working ok? Does the jeep start normally? If so, then there is most probably a fault in the instrument cluster.
