Just got a 1995 volvo 850 sedan. I put the battery in and the radio says code. I enter the code given from previous owner. I enter the code and radio plays fine but when I take out the key auto seek r

radio is antitheft telling don't bother to steal me.lol thats all it is just like you needed a code to get it to turn on.

Volvo S80 code p0161 also code p1132

p0161 is o2 sensor heater circuit malfunction(bank 2 sensor 2) p1132 is manufacturer control fuel air meter. Hope it helps a little. I have a 99 V70xc AWD I know they can be.

NEED RADIO CODE FOR 1999 VOLVO S70

You will need to go to the Volvo Dealer to obtain the code. The radio is VIN# specific and the radio has its own special code.

Go to the nearest Volvo dealer with the vehicle registration and your drivers lic. in hand (names on both must match). They can look up the radio code for you.

If you will remove the engine air filter box, the speed sensor should be located directly on top of the transmission and is easily removable.

The code should be written in your user manual, if not, you will have to contact a Volvo Dealer. This option is placed in vehicle radios to deter theft and render the radio useless if stolen. Thanks for using FixYa.
