You have a sticky motor somewhere, they tend to unlock but only half way so the motor tries to lock and unlock again, all I can suggest is get some WD40 and spray all your locks including the bootlock and all the mechanisms dont be shy with the WD40 after you have done all the locks do the keyholes etc aswell and then lock and unlock the car with the key on all locks and then lock and unlock repeatedly with the remote locking button.

Hope this helps
Regards
Dan. If you need more info about the internal door motors get back to me.

Look on the inside of the cover for the fuse block. There should be a printed diagram of the fuse location and function.

Kia Sedona 2002 (Mk2), the central locking locks itself randomly, although most often whilst closing the driver's door.

Try checking the central locking module as most of these problems cab be traced back to it being faulty

try disconecting battery and use a charging system to the power leads not to the battery as the battery sounds like itd draining too much once you get the kia started connect the battery carefully leave running with as meny items running but if u have central locking dont leave keys in car

Central locking not operaiting

Was the car battery disconnected before this central locking problem. Also is the central locking system operated by remote. If yes, then is the remote battery new or old.If the battery in remote is old then try with new battery. Also if the central locking is controlled by a push button in the car then it can be the problem with push button switch .The switch on driver side is got short. It has to be checked with meter to confirm the fault.Apply a direct 12 volt external battery to the switch and check if the central locking is getting done. Also confirm if you can lock the doors manually by using a car key.If you are not able to lock the door with key manually then its faulty door latch. But if the door lock and unlock manually with out any problem then this problem is related to central locking switch or the remote.
