The front passenger door lock does not pop up, or unlock / lock with either the key fob, or using the key in the drivers door, or the lock / unlock button inside the car

Take a close look at the wiring and connections at the drivers door switch.

rough usage of door handle bends internal mechainism,you will need to remove door panel iside car and replace door opening mechanism or repair it

first get it closed, 100% is it.

then use the key, if that don\'t work it needs service.

the key is for emerancies, say baby stuck in car, so..... use it.

Could be your driver door lock mechanism that is going bad , since the other door are working, it cannot be the fob. I would try to change the driver side door latch mechanism.

dead battery in the key fob/ button battery

check the interior light switch is working on all the doors. these control the security system.

Remove door trim sit in car lock car with windows up and see if you can assist the link rod to lock drivers door, if not do the same to unlock drivers door.
yes check movement for free play on link rod or adjust reposition solenoid.
No can you lock and unlock the door via the link rod.
Yes, test solenoid will it shunt into lock unlock positions use jump leads to do this.
Check continuity of circuit is it getting feeds to actuate lock unlock. For now enjoy the season look at it tomorrow with a fresh approach, in other word sleep on it as that always work for me with a situation that should not be happening. You need to replace the electric door lock solenoid.The electrical part of the solenoid may be compromised and is not letting the solenoid arm retract or extend to lock/unlock your door.
