How do i get to the ac fan motor 2000 jimmy

Disconnect the VCM or the PCM.
Remove the coolant reservoir.
Remove the rear coolant recovery reservoir mounting stud.
Disconnect the cooling tube from the blower motor.

Disconnect the electrical connector
Remove the 5 blower motor and tan assembly mounting bolts
Remove the blower motor and fan assembly
Reverse procedure to install. Don't forget that cooling tube. It looks useless but is very important to reinstall.

Replacement of blower motor

Dealer, new auto parts store, junk yard. You should be able to find your motor at any of these places. Changing it? Remove the one and put in the new one.

I have a 1994 GMC Jimmy SLE. I know nothing about vehicles. My blower quit working, but then started working again. Then it quit again. Could it be a fuse and where are the fuses located on the jimmy?...

no it would not be a fuse [ because it would not work at all ] change blower motor or resistor

How do I change the blower motor speed control resistor?

Blower motor resistor, should be located in your engine compartment towards the firewall by the passenger side fender you should see it by the blower motor general area. 2 bolts hold it down. Important thing when ordering a new one is to tell them automatic climate control or manual control.
