I think I have the same problem on my 2006 Armada. It blew a 10 amp fuse. I'm pretty sure it's the shift lock, but my heater/AC controls also stopped working at the same time. Also, at that same time, my trip odometer still works but it resets to zero everytime I shut the engine off (the main odometer still works). My question is, can someone tell me what else is on that same fuse circuit? I have not been able to find that out in any manuals. Thanks in advance, Don

I have the same problem with my 2005 Armada. It has 80K miles and the dealer stated that the shifter lock mechinism is not working. The brake pedal sensor is sending voltage to the shift lock, but the lock will not release. This means it will not shift any further from neutral to go into reverse or park. They stated total shifter assy has to be replaced (around $400).

I have to ask. The new battery, please don't tell me you replaced it because it wasn't in park and wouldn't start. It is pretty clear that you find out why the shifter and the cable or linkage under under your vehicle is not working correctly, before you even attempt to start or use the vehicle.

Where is the fuel filter for a Nissan Armada 2005 located?

I looked fuel filter for your vehicle in my database. 5.6L engine, fuel filter is park of fuel pump assembly. With your model year, I replace whole assembly. I don't know if you can replace filter separately?

2005 Nissan armada wont start in park only in nuetral

There is a block out switch in the console that is supposed to keep the car from starting in anything but park. If it has come loose, it will cause the problem you describe. You'll need to look at the shifter console to find out if this is the case.

Won't go into park

If you have the ability check the shifter cable under the armada and make sure its not melted by being too close to the exhaust. This seems to be a common issue with armadas and titans. If this is your case then replace the shifter cable.

When park on a hill or slope. the transmission makes a loud noise when **** to reverse or drive. but on flat surface it's smooth shifting.

before you return the shifting lever to park on a hilly slope please apply parking brake first then shift the lever to park.now when pulling off shift to drive then remove park brake no loud noise.just my 2 cents

The condensor fan on my 2005 nissan armada won't

There is a recall on those fans. I would check with your closet Nissan dealership to see if you have an open recall on your truck.

2005 nissan altma won't go into park or reverse. However removed little cap (before shifter) and pushed down with object and it would shift into park or reverse.

I have seen this problem before. Frist thing is do you have a test light and seond thing is how comfotable are you with taking part of your dash apart? You might need a control unit in the upper portion of the instrument cluster.

My 2005 300 C chrysler will not go into reverse from the park position.,..I came home pulled forward into my garage...went out to leave and the gear shift seems to be stuck in park and I cannot get it to...

the nuetral safety switch may hav problems-its a screw in plug with wires down by the tranny pan--however inpec linkage 1st for ajustment-thats in the same area--use jackstands not a jack for safety

2005 Nissan Armada will not go in reverse. The other gears work. Transmission fluid is ok.

It could be any number of things from minor to serious. This is something I would suggest taking to a transmission shop and not attempting repair yourself.
