I have a problem my engine malfunction light has come on. my car is a x type 2.0 diesel jaguar. any ideas?

You should always take the upgrades. They are fixes to known issues.

All Diesel engines are slow to start as they need pressure and heat which happens after a few revolutions of the engine.

Rough Idle is normally because the Throttle Body and MAF need cleaning.

Check fuel filters.

the amber light is a can malfunction or indicator light....press ur display stalk to display the issue..

try disconnecting the battery and joining the leads together leave for half hour and try again ,Seems to be common fault on these cars with teh computer and i have no idea whats causing it to do this but i do know that joining the leads together clears the fault sometimes

jaguar x-type 2ltr diesel 2004 the glow plug warning light flashing, was told dirty fuel on fault code all fuel changed and filters. No problems for 20 miles untill engine was put under power on high revs went into limp mode, warning light glow plug falshing again? any ideas thanks.

it sounds the switch has not been adjusted correctly the way is to start the engine then hold the brake pedal on with the new switch unlocked

get it on the computer first to see what the problem is first its called engine diagnotics which connects under your dashboard

I have a Jaguar 2L X type diesel, my problem is that the car has a slight jerking/juddering when driving. The engine management light is not illuminated and there seems to be plenty of power there when accelerating.plz let me no a.s.a.p plz can you put pictures of the problems
