POWER STEERING WENT OUT, 2000 SEPHIA
Check the fluid level in the power steering reservoir. If it is empty you have a leak in the system. You will need to fill the reservoir and run the car to find the leak. The leaking hose will then need to be replaced.
If the reservoir is full, you should check the belt that drives the pump to be sure it is there and not slipping on the pulley.
If that doesn't solve the problem it's time to take it to a repair shop for further diagnosis. A defective power steering pump or rack and pinion system would need to be checked by a mechanic.
Good luck.
Check the fluid. if its fine then you probally need a rack and pinion. also check the belt that runs the pump.
