How do i put transmission fluid in my vw passat 52 plate manual diesel

Down the dipstick hole--------short hose small funnel and pour it in ,but slowly

Looking into the engine bay,on the back right(or left) by the oil filter look behind there(on the gearbox near the inner driveshaft/cv joint) and you will see a large nut which is 4 sided inside, about a 17mm allen key.Undo it and you can fill the gearbox oil in the hole(it's the filler hole) the nut needs to be torqued when re-fitted, 012/01w is the 5 speed manual@25nm or 18ft and the 5 or 6 speed box 01E/01A (includes diesel)is 25nm or 18ft,I drained mine as there where initial gearbox problems with passats for some reason and as the drain plug underneath is using a expensive socket i inserted a lenght of new plastic tube from a fishtank aipump into the hole and using a baster or large syringe sucked out all i could get and then refilled with only the main dealer oil using a funnel with a tube attached.
