The "buzzing noise"; I can tell that I am not alone in having this problem but has someone figured out ... I fit does, that eliminates the brake rotors, tires, wheelbearings, CV's etc. ... BUT with an Altima it is probable the pre-cats. Loud humming noise when driving

older model altima need drive belt tension adjustment at 7500 miles intervals, the new models altimas has a automatic belt tensioner.i you hear noises belt tensioner could be failing.or could have leaking coolant getting on drive belt due to water pump gasket leaking or pump leaking.or alternator power steering pump could be failing many things will cause drive belt to make high squeak noises.

this sounds like a loose or bad belt, this could be the alternator belt or the ac belt, the alternator and the ac may use the same belt to drive them both, this is what the problem sounds like to me. if this problem has been going on for a while then i would just replace the belt or belts, this is because the slipping belt causing this noise may be glazed so replace them and make sure they are tight and that will solve that problem good day.

the belt is the most likely culprit could also be the belt tension idler that puts tension to keep the belt adjusted

If it's loose it can slip when the a/c comes on and screech.
If it's not loose but screeches when the a/c is on then the a/c clutch or compressor is locking up.
If it screeches any time the car is running it can be any of the pulleys. Take the belt off and see if any are hard to spin. Be sure to check the idler pulley also.

THE PULLEY IS BROKEN ARE ARE NEEDS TO BE REPLACE

1st check the the oil level and the vehicle's oil type.(owners manuel) 5w30-10w30
10w 30 is a thicker oil and could possibly be causing this.(Moves more freely through the engine heats the oil)

check your alternator belt it is probably a little loose it will do that when it is loose tighten belt

possibly belt is slipping old and worn out
