The injectors are not pulsing, most likely the crankshaft sensor,or pick up coil,if it is distributor ignition.

Hey there, just wondering what else could be the cause for the P0300 code, I have replaced all spark plugs, coil packs, maf sensor, and also my o2 sensor?

code p 0300 is random misfires and is generally related to fuel and injector problems rather that plugs , coils and wires
Check for fault codes that relate to the EVAP for non venting of the tank, which causes a vacuum in the tank and the fuel pump cannot supply enough fuel to maintain pressure to the injectors
check for a problem fuel pressure regulator that is not keeping the pump running
check for pump relay problem
check for ECM not switching on the pump relay
check for bad grounds on relay , pump pressure regulator

P0230 fault - citroen xsara picasso 2001 2.0HDI - not fuel pump or relay changed - intermittent cutting out on car - can drive 30 / 5 / 15 miles before this occurs

code p 0230 refers to fuel pump relay---circuit malfunction===causes --wiring---fuel pump relay-- ECM
check wiring for bad connections
replace the ECM with a known good unit as it may be breaking down electronically in the circuit that controls the pump relay
Check the pressure regulator as well as it reports to the ECM to shut off the pump relay when the fuel pressure is reached and not being used

I have a 2004 grand am. the motor turns over but wont start. I changed the fuel pump, the ignition is good, fuses are all good but it will not start

first check the fuel filter. check before and after the filter if you get fuel before it then check after it, no fuel before go back to the pump. if you get fuel after then go to the fuel rail on the motor. open the line before the pressure regulator, if you get fuel then check after the regulator, if none after then the regulator is bad, if the regulator is vacuum assisted check your vacuum.

92 ford aerostar good fuel pressure, plenty of spark, spins like crazy good battery , air intake good but fuel pump runs non stop and engine want start. acts like no run signal being enabled. is there a...

There is a fuel pressure regulator on the fuel rail. It could be bad. To check this pull off the vacuum line and turn the ignition on without trying to start the car. If fuel comes out of the vacuum hose fitting the fuel pressure regulator is bad. Another possibility is a bad fuel pump. Check your fuel preasure. If low or non exisitant replace fuel pump only after checking fuel pressure regulator. Good luck.

Fuel is not going to the railengin is fireing just no gas what could cause it

Check the fuel pump for voltage. If there is no voltage, it could be the pump relay. Swap another relay of the same type with the fuel pump relay. If that doesn't work, then the pump itself is probably bad. If the fuel pump is getting voltage, fuel filter and fuel pressure regulator are the next things to check. Usually a dirty filter won't completely restrict the flow of fuel. You can check to see if fuel is reaching the pressure regulator by disconnecting the inlet fuel line and cranking the engine.

Truck will not start, has fire. relay ok. no trouble codes.

when you turn the key in 'on' position, do you hear the fuel pump hum? check under hood in black box,,fuses,,and relays. for bad fuse or fuel pump relay bad. try bumping fuel tank with something hard to see if fuel pump will engauge with key on. maybe bad pump. have you had off road? look for pulled plug from fuel pump underneath near gas tank.have you bent or damaged your igbition key somehow? the key sends a signal to your cars computer to engauge the pump and crankshaft sensor.but if you do have fire,,,it's a fuel problem, so you are on the right track. if nothing i've said helps, check for a bad fuel pressure regulator.hope this helps and thank you for choosing fixya.com!!

Check for a burned fusible link under the hood. If you have power at the fuel pump relay, you could have a bad ignition switch or bad oil pressure switch...accordianman
