2009 Honda Accord Coupe power outlet problem

Well... because there can be several things that cause this issue, you want to start with the process of elimitation. Is your car powered on when you try and use the outlet? Most veichels will not allow power to the outlets when powered off.
Observe the outlet and remove any foreign objects from the outlet, there may be a fuse or metal from a broken acessory stuck in the outlet.
Start by pluging something that works into the outlet (like a cell phone charger wit an led to indicate power) locate your veichels fuse box as per instruction of the cars manual. Remove fuse cover and locate the fuse location of the outlet in question, often labeled power or accessory. Observe the ratings of the fuse and be prepared to replace it if need be (it's good to keep common spare fuse for your veichel in your glove,trunk,ect). Remove the fuse and use a fuse tester to test the fuse or look to observe if the fuse is blown, if so replace the fuse, if the led on the charger plugged into the outlet emit's light then you have solved your problem, and if not stop work and call a mechanic or post another question. There are other things you could do but nothing that I would advise without you asking.

my honda fit 2009 power outlet is not working

check and make sure theres no corrosion and if possible check to make sure its plugged in .. the connector is directly behind the outlet so removal of the panel will be necessary.. if thats good the i would check for voltage at the connector if there is( which it probably will have voltage) than replace the outlet..

List of items to check: B+ to outlet( wires from fuse box may have an open) , outlet itself may be corroded ,fuse may be blown.Double check the items you've been using in the outlet. They may be defective or not appropriate for that outlet.

plug somthing in the outlet andstart pulling fuse.You can also use a test light.

It likely blew the fuse.

There is blown fuse check fuse panel on the left side kick panel . check all the fuses in that fuse box with a fuse tester some circuits are linked together. it may not only be the cigarette lighter and radio fuse that control those items. Double check all fuse with a fuse tester or a test light with the ignition ON. Good luck and thanks for using FIX YA

could be the plug conecting on the back of the outlet under neath the front center console. i have seen them get truned so many times and just un plug from twisting...

check the fuse for the power outlet in the interior fuse boxes on the sides of ur dashboard... between the door and ur dash, there are 2 fuse boxes on both pass and drivers side..remove the pop out panels... they are just held in by clips..
