This could be the auto choke playing you up,,,
try giveing it one full pump on the throttle pedal befour you try to start it up from cold,,,doing this pulls the choke on full before you start cranking the engine over

I have an 04 rx8 and i have left it parked for 2 days 3 times now. when i go try to start it it will not start i have flooded to engine and now recharged the battery what can i do to get it started

If you flooded the engine, first try to open the throttle all the way and try to start, this is letting in more air. if it wont start replace the spark plugs, they are gas fouled

This is an idea not a for sure. Bad or worn valves can cause what you describe. Had something similar happen to an 2004 Toyota. Due to bad lubrication, crazy huh?

Seems fuel injectors are dumping fuel in and flooding.. won't start.. we get spark.. but flooding

Over time the injectors will wear and leak . I have seen were after you get it started it is fine but if you let it sit for a while it is hard to start again.....If you plan to fix it I would recomend you replace ALL the injectors while you have it apart....I replaced 2 bad ones last week, then had to go back and fix another that was fine at that time..Will never just replace just one or 2 again. Do it right the first time !!!
