95 Honda Accord, fuse keeps blowing and no dash lights

I have a 1995 Honda Accord EX, my fuse for small lights keep blowing out, its a 15A fuse. Also my dash lights does not turn on, I believe the two have something to do with each other. I've check my rheostat switch to see if that was my dash lights weren't working but its not that.

Sounds like a short
look at wires under dash
then look at te wires coming through the fire wall
check lighter too it might have a coin stuck in it as it will cause a short too

The lighter is fine and working. It is unclear what fuse(s) might control these two disparate electrical issues. I think it has something to do with the headlight control on the steering wheel.

My dash lights and tail lights quit working in my honda accord ex 2001 fuses are good help

Do you have an aftermarket sound system installed, that is the problem, it causes a failure in the light control unit.

2001 honda accord no dash lights and running lights. Keeps blowing 10 amp fuse

Thats going to be tough to troubleshoot.
A fuse blows when the electrical load on that circuit exceeds the limit of the fuse. It could be a bad connection or moisture in a light socket among other things.

No havent a clue what you are talking about but will try
Take out wire ..remove plugs from back of lights (tail/parkers) then replace fuse it should not blow ,if ok then plug in 1 rear light if ok do other side if ok do same to front ,,,,Which one blowes the fuse is the faulty one ...connect up all others leave that bad one unpluged

Blows Fuses

If you have installed an aftermarket radio then you might have a short in the wiring . Take the radio out and make sure all wiring is insulated and installed correctly

95 honda accord V6 tachometer jumping and cutting out.

I had the same problem with my 1995 Honda Accord V6 2.7L a year ago. It was a pain to have Honda diagnose the problem because it was intermittent and every time I took my car in to the dealership they said they couldn't reproduce the problem, but the longer you wait the more frequently your tachometer will fluctuate. I finally stopped by the dealership when the tachometer was jumping and they were able to diagnose the problem. In my case there was a faulty resistor in the ignition coil, but the entire ignition coil needs to be replaced. I don't know anything about cars but I know this fixed my problem. I went directly though Honda's service center so I know they charged me more than an independent repair shop but I'm looking at my invoice now and I paid $150 for the ignition coil and $200 for labor. After Honda diagnosed the problem I searched for "1995 honda accord ignition coil tachometer" and found that other people had the same problem and replacing the ignition coil was the fix. Hope this helps.
