Your sensors are reading correctly so leave them alone. What you have is a fuel delivery issue. Your MAF sensor is telling your engine to lean your fuel mixture. You need to remove and clean or replace (is better) the MAF. But first replace your PVC valve and clean your ERG valve.

    Also make sure that you have no exhaust leaks in your system, that is your O2 sensors not reading due to low temp.

I have a 96 Toyota Tacoma after the check engine light came on bought a scan tool. After scanning it it gives me a P0171 code, manual says that the system is too lean, I don't know where to begin.

A P0171 means that your Toyota is having trouble with a dirty or faulty mass air flow (MAF) sensor, or a vacuum leak downstream of the MAF sensor but this code can also signify a bad O2 sensor in the exhaust on bank 1.(the one closest to the engine on bank 1)
Also, P0171 code can be tripped by a plugged fuel injector, by a dirty fuel filter causing low fuel pressure, or even an exhaust leak before the first O2 sensor.Most of the time, the best way to respond to a P0171 is to try cleaning the MAF sensor and the lines running to and from it. This will often resolve this issue.Next is change the oxygen sensor in bank one and closest to the engine.

What are the probable causes of DTCs P053 and P0171?

the 53 code is a transmission error related to speed sensors. The other code is an oxygen sensor telling you that it is running lean.

I have gotten the codes p0171 and p0134 what are they

P0171 indicates system lean (bank 1). P0134 indicates no activity from sensor 1 on bank 1. You could have a bad O2 sensor or an actual lean condition. Possible causes of a lean condition include a restricted fuel filter on a vacuum leak.

What can cause a 2005 Hyundai Sante Fe check engine light to come on and get all these codes: p0134 - o2 sensor circuit no activity detected (bank 1 sensor 1), p0151 -oxygen sensor circuit,low voltage...

i would check ur fuses that supply voltage to ur o2 sensors, their in the fuse box and usually r labeled o2 sensr. sounds like the o2 sensrs dont have power

An Engine Light came on the dashboard of my 2003 Ford Windstar.The code came up saying p0171 (Fuel System too lean.(Cylinder bank 1) What does this mean?

P0171=System Too Lean Bank 1,
not cylinder 1,it means the oxygen sensor on the drivers side exhaust was stuck on lean and set a code.
doesn't mean you need to change the oxygen sensor yet,first clear the code and see if it corrected its self.

Diagnsis codes

replace your bank 1 (driver's side) position 1 (pre-convertor) O2 sensor. It probably will be completely black, the p0134, 134 and 1133 are all for that O2 sensor, the P0171 is for lean fuel trim on bank 1, and the p0300 is for a misfire probably caused by the lean fuel mixture.
