Question about 2004 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Crew Cab

2004 silverado for some reason the heater/ac control only works on the 5 setting and when the heat is on only blows out hot air on the passenger side and cold on the drivers. i have replaced the blower motor resistor, fuses, wires and ac/heater control. what else?

Well had the same issue on my duel climate controll 04 2500HD but changing the heater control solved the different temp.The only other thing would be your mixer door motor.There are two,one for DR side is probibly stuck..As far as the blower motor.The resister should have taken care of that.Sounds like you may have another bad one.May want to take a volt meter to the resister plug in and run you different fan speed just to make sure that you get voltage to the different conecters.

2004 2500 6.0 Silverado ac blows HOT on alternate sides of vehicle while in Auto A/C mode.
Douglass, Your A/C may have lost it's programming, blend door actuator could be faulty or A/C could be low on refrigerant. You may have to take in and have a good Tech. diagnose and estimate repair.

Heater blows cold air
the keepers of the actuator have broken or fallen off of the actuators lever which is under the dash on the drivers side. the actuator and keepers is a cheap part to repace but getting to it under the dash is not that easy, its a common problem in the kia amantis. when i had a fender bender it caused the pins or keepers of the actuator to fall or break off, and instantly my drivers side only blew cold air until i was able to get to it behind my dash and replace it.

My heater does not blow in floor in a dodgeram 1500
the heater vacuum motor and lines needs to be checked.Also get the blend door checked.

NO HEAT ON FLOOR VENTS

Heater problem, 2 left front vents on dash board are blowing ice cold air + right 2 vents are blowing hot air. is this a possible dial setting/button problem or actual haeater problem. heat was set @...
Most likly this van has seperate controls for driver and passenger heat and ac controls.If its blowing hot air your heat is working.These controls operate differant dampers that are electonicly controlled.If the dials arent working they would cause this problem.

Heater only works on passenger side.
there is a motor actuator that moves these doors for hot and cold, two separate ones for either side. the motor unit for drivers side is no good and needs new one. replace this and all will be good.

One side air blows cold one side blows hot
GM has a known problem with the electric actuators that operate the blend and temperature doors in the HVAC system. There are 4 or 5 of these in the typical system. Any can start sticking or binding and cause this problem. Sometimes they can be cleaned, or they might need to be replaced. Sometimes resetting the HVAC system controller by disconnecting the battery for 10 minutes, then reconnecting it, will correct the problem.

2004 Chevy Silverado AC is blowing warm air on passenger side.
You have dual zones that are controlled by temperature actuators the passenger side has lost its memory or has gone bad you can put it in self programming by disconnecting the battery for ten minutes then hook it back up start the truck turn the temperature control on but do not touch any other controls let it go thru the self programming for about 6 to 7 minutes then select your temperature you want if it still does not work properly you may have a bad actuator or a bad connection at the actuator

I have an 2004 chevy silverado 6cyl. it has 180,000 miles on it. a couple of years ago it started wobbling but now it has gotten alittle worse. I replaced the tire rod ends and wheel bearings but i still have a little play on both sides and the wobble is still there. Im going to another shop to re balance my tires but i dont think thats the problem. could it be the rack and pinion?
