I have a 1988 Toyota Hilux V6 3.0L 4X4 that I need a radiator for. Toyota no longer has this part. All the parts houses have a replacement but they all are too tall and hit the hood. Any idea if anyone makes a replacement that will fit this truck?

it is on top of engine and upper radiator hose is connected to thermostat housing. Remove thermostat housing and thermostat is visible and easily removed.

Should be near the blower motor or on the firewall. The resistor is mounted in the blower housing to help keep it cool.

change thermostat for a new one. Suspect blockage in cooling system or failing water pump if new thermostat doesn't cure the problem.

check the needle and seat for gunk not allowing the float to shut of the needle . Check that the automatic choke is adjusted correctly and not staying longer that it should. Check timing position. Replace the air filter

I'd check with manufacturer of tow bar to be sure it bolts on the same etc. I'm sure they would give you that info, and if nothing else, call a place that sells them and ask for kit number for both vehicles & if they are the same number, well, just need to check that they bolt on exactly the same, that's why I would contact manufacturer for copy of install instructions for the new install.
