SOURCE: Renault Clio Rear Door Lock Fault

It has nothing to do with the "child lock" It is a know problem in this car, they tend to get caught in lock. Only thing to do, is to take of the panel then the outside handle, and through that hole destroy the plastic covering the lock, a large screwdriver and hammer will do! Then you can release the lock, while you pull the inside release handle. Buy new!

SOURCE: 2002 laguna tourer, boot and glass tailgate wont unlock

Gmars 70970 you problem looks like the earth connecton is missing / high resistance. The earthpoint is located below the left rear light cluster. you may need to run a new wire from this up to the inside of the tailgate. paulhymas you may well have the same problem. This is not a difficult repair but is time consuming as it requires removal of most of the trim from the left hand side of the boot area.

How to program a keyless remote on a 2003 f-150

To program the transmitters yourself:
  1. Insert a key in the ignition and turn from 3(Off) to 4(On) eight times in rapid succession (within 10 seconds) with the eighth turn ending in the 4(On) position.
  2. The doors will lock/unlock to confirm that programming mode has been entered.
  3. Within 20 seconds, program a remote transmitter by pressing any button on a transmitter. The doors will lock/unlock to confirm that the remote transmitter has been programmed. (If more than 20 seconds pass before pressing a remote transmitter button, the programming mode will exit and the procedure will have to be repeated.)
  4. Repeat the previous step to program additional remote transmitters. The doors will lock/unlock to confirm that each remote transmitter has been programmed.
  5. When you have completed programming the remote transmitters, turn th ignition to 3(Off) or wait 20 seconds. Again the doors will lock/unlock to confirm programming has been completed.

Chevrolet 2500 crewcab - rear door auto lock shut off

try punching the remote lock button twice. experience with 4 door s-blazers shows that it has to be done twice to lock all 4 doors. also look for "child safety" switched for the rear doors that may be disabling remote locking for the rears.
