Jimmy runs and drives fine. it does great. till i go up a hill. or passing gear kicks in. then it seems like it loses power. any idea?

if you hear a vacuum breach there could be a loose or broken hose, if you hear it inside the cab it may be in the A/C air flow controller, for this devices use the car vaccum to operate, but I am not sure that's what's causing it to loose power. sounds like a worn clutch. best luck to you.

Loses lpower going up hills. drives fine but doesnt shift down going up the hills only when i hit the gas hard

If it has high mileage on it probably is the catalytic converter is stopped up. A dead give away is losing power going up hills and not shifting like it used to. A easy test is to put your hand over the exhaust pipe wear a glove as it may be hot. Then have a friend give it gas if it is stopped up you will be able to hold the exhaust from coming out. That is just a simple test but more then likely it is stopped up . You can get a after market cat for about half the price of a new one . Good luck.
