Low beam not working but high beam is-Pontiac Vibe 2005

Low beam not working but high beam is. Checked the fuses and they were fine but could only tell if these ran high beams. Is there a separate fuse for low beam or is there a relay or switch problem. Could not see where low beams had a separate fuse.

both high beams work. Have not checked the bulbs, they both went out together, thought that was odd and should be a fuse or something similar causing it.

I have heard it could be the Daylight Running Light module located under the dash above the brake pedal. The module controls both the daytime running lights and the low beam lights. The high beams are independent of this module.

I have the same problem. I am trying to buy a new module.

Are both high beams out? The headlights aren't fused in the fuse block. Have you checked the bulbs? Did both go out together?

Yes both seem to be out but the low beams work fine. Also I have some fog lights and they do not work either but it looks as if all the fuses are fine.

Why would the low beam headlights stop working in a 2005 Pontiac Vibe?

They are controlled by the turn signal switch. Replace that.

I have a 2003 Pontiac Vibe and my low beams stopped working. High beams, turn signals and fog lights work fine. We changed the bulbs, the fuse, and replaced the headlamp switch on the steering colum. Any...

When you say fuses does that include relays, they're the black boxes located in the fuse panel. I would check the manual and see if there is a relay for the low beams, and/or for the right-left side

Low beam headlights not working on 2004 Pontiac Montana extended

You headlight lamp have a diffuser mechanism which allows it to flip between the hight beam and low beam feature of the bulb. In fact, you high beam will function even if the low beam is not working.

I would recommend the purchase of the new headlight lamp. It would cost you you any where from $15.00 per unit to get a replacement lamp
