Hi, I have a peugeot 206 2005 diesel and the windscreen washers aren't working. They don't even make a noise so i assume the fuse has blown with the recent cold weather? Does anybody know which fuse it is? I've looked at the fuse box under the steering wheel & I've looked on the web but cant find anything? Thanks

The fuse box is inside the glove box (on passenger side dash board).
Open the glove box and you'll then see a small box on the side with a Plastic screw on it. Turn the screw to 90° to open the fuse box. Which fuse it could be for washer motor i really don't know as peugeot service manual has not lost any word about fuse plan.

Would my windscreen water pump have a dedicated fuse that may have blown?

sorry to hear about your back, back problems and working on cars are never a great combo. This is a simple fix, if you can purchase a simple voltage meter it will help even more. if there is 12v going to the pump then its The Pump. since you say there are no noises coming from the washer jug then that eliminates a broken/disconnected tube. If you think your fuse is blown, well thats an easy fix. But something caused it. So if the fuse is blown look for a "ground fault". Explenation; everything inand on your car must be grounded to the chasis, when you loose that connetion this Will Not blow your fuse, only a corroded/poor connection. This causes heat and heat will pop fuses and sometimes take out the component you are working on. recap: 1. buy a 12v meter - this is your diagnostics tool. 2. check the fuse - if blown/popped do not replace until you check the connection on the motor. if there is no corrosion your good to put the fuse in. 3. if the fuse isnt popped, your meter can test for power to the motor. if power is there the motor is bad. replace it and then check your tubing.
Good luck

Wipers are not working suddenly???

Check your fuse compartment under hood. Fuse 3 & 12 for windshield wipers and washers. More than likely you've overloaded the wiper motor causing a blown fuse.

Windscreen washer bottle is full , When i press the arm to activate the washer no noise is heard and nothing happens.

If no noise is heard the pump is not working, this is most likely to be a blown fuse. check fuse under bonnet usually fuse number 2 which is 10 amp (red).

Neither front nor back windscreen washer are working. I suspect fuse has gone but don't know which fuse it is linked to

Hi,

When you use the washer, do you hear the buzzing sound of the motor washer?

These cold days might have frozen the liquid in your washer tank.

My windscreen wash will not work ?

Hi,

If you have a continuity tester check the fuses if not pull them out and visually check replace any blown fuses .However the problem is more likely to be that the pump on the washer bottle has failed .The lack of noise can mean the motor has burnt out or the fuse has blown so check the fuse first .You can get replacement bottles and motors from scrap dealers quite cheaply A Mondeo bottle and pumps costs £15 as a rough guide

Good luck!!!

Windshield washer on my 2002 hundai santa fe not working

hi is there a noise coming from the washer when operated. it is posible there is a blockage in the tank at the pump intake. some windscreen wash additaves have a habbit of forming a heavy gunk. always use the liquid type. if there is no noise it is possibly a blown fuse or a faulty pump.

Peugeot 1007 windscreen washer water jets

Hi

It is usually the fuse. This blows very easily.(eg Ifyou operaten the washers when the fluid is frozen or partially frozen)

Look in your handbook. And in the fuse box in the engine compartment
