There should also be a same size hole (roughly) in the blower mounting flange. Normally all blower assemblies have a rubber tube connecting these two holes. It provides cooling air for the blower motor. And now you know!

hi i would say either the heater motor is on its way out or the controll switch is faulty but seen a lot of cherokee jeeps with the same thing on this site usually the motor in the heater is goosed if you want to test it run a wire to the motor from the battery and see how fast it turns then you will know if its the motor or not hope this helps ivan

You need to pull the blower motor (under dash on pass side) and vac out the debris that is in the ducts. If the fan is turning, you may have had a mouse take up residence in the heater, and there is stuff hitting the blower as it turns. Hope this helps.

in the passenger floorboard, up in the corner between the dash console and floor theres usually a box over it or a cover take that off youll also see a vacuum motor or two down there but thats where its at.

I would try to replace the blower motor resistor first,If that doesnt repair your problem you may wanna try replacing the blower speed switch.The resistor is located under the passenger side of the dash mounted in the heater box.

The fan motor probably shorted and blew the fuse. The other possibility is that the fan switch melted and the positive wire shorted to ground somewhere. I have seen the switches actually melt the dash where it is located on Ford vans. If you un-plug the fan motor and replace the fuse and try to use the switch and it does not blow the fuse, the motor is probably bad. If you have a volt meter you could check the motor to see if there is a dead short between the positive terminal on the motor and the motor case using the Ohms scale. Hope this helps you out!

Sounds like the ignition coil is getting bad.

CHECK FUEL FILTER,MAY BE FUEL PUMP OF YOUR VEHICLE HAVE TO GO ON SERVICING.ALSO CHECK HEATER PLUG.
