Need firing pattern to replace mixed up spark plug wires on 1998 bravada please

Sounds like you have it right... clogged fuel injector. Please retrace all your plug wires and ensure they are in the proper place on the distributor... mixing up the firing order will certainly cause a misfire. A Bosch service center has the machine to clean the injectors and test the spray patterns. Bosh and DENSO make excellent replacements for most cars... change them all to prevent a recurrence and standardize the spray pattern. Check you PCV valve and Oxygen sensors while you are at it; although unrelated to your problem they will make your car run better if they function correctly.

The wires are just pushed on to the spark plugs! Pull off one at a time and replace so as not to mix up the firing order!

Follow the wires from the spark distributor and do them one at a time.

By mixing the plugwires up all you did was mess up the firing order. If you have the correct firing order, just plug the appropriate wire to the appropriate spark plug. You do not need to unhook the Battery. Unhooking the battery resets your computer and you do not need to do that for this problem.

could be that when you changed spark plugs you could possibly mixed up the firing order

Firing Orders NOTE: To avoid confusion, remove and tag the spark plug wires one at a time, for replacement.
If a distributor is not keyed for installation with only one orientation, it could have been removed and installed improperly and then rewired. The new wiring arrangement would maintain the correct firing order, but could change the relative placement of the plug towers in relation to the engine. For this reason it is imperative that you label all wires before disconnecting any of them. Also, before removal, compare the current wiring with the accompanying illustrations. If the current wiring does not match, make notes of the current plug wire locations and orientation of the distributor cap.

I have replaced Distributor cap, rotor, wires, and spark plugs in my 2000 Oldsmobile Bravada AWD smart track. To replace one spark plug I had to collapse the steering column, but everything went O.K. Did you marked the wires?. Did you reconnect them in the firing order?
The fuel pump is located In the fuel tank. Remove the fuel tank and take the fuel pump out from the top. This is part cost $300 and need some skills to be replaced.
The fuel filter it is directly in front of the fuel tank. Another one is incorporated with the fuel pump.

ASE Mechanic:
inspect everything from spark plugs, wires, fuel filter, air filter and maf sensor, mostly likely your due for a major tune- up. be carful the middle spark plug on the drivers side of the engine is very tricky and even a skilled technician can have problems.

The coil have these number 1,4,3,2 these are the cylinder number and the number 1 cylinder spark is the first of the left when you are in front of the car trunk the secuency is continuos in the motor from left to right 1,2,3,4.
