"humming" noise after tire replacement

I recently(one month ago) replaced the two front tires on my 2004 GX 470. Shortly thereafter, I noticed a "humming noise" like driving over the non-skid grooves on a highway except much lower noise level. This noise starts at about 25 mph and continues through the speed range. It stops when making a right turn curve in the highway, but is constant when driving straight or turning left. I have driven the car about 1000 miles without any change in the noise. Is this tire noise( I had the tires rotated front to rear with no change in noise), a wheel bearing, or something else? The car has 88,000 miles on it.

Check the wheel bearing sounds like a problem there.

2002 Buick Park Avenue humming noise?

Why would you not diagnose & repair, if necessary, the
ABS/Trac issue, seeing as how your very though on
everthing else.

Resolve the Code related issue first

Change the Power Steering Fluid & add some Lubgard
Additive,no other product to any thing on vehicle except
Lubgard in the trans ,which along with the P/S should be
changed every 3 years

Your noise is the transaxle or alternator, unless you have
some ABS Pump or HCU issues there

sounds like a right front wheel bearing. when you turn to the left it puts more load on the right bearing. when you turn to the right it puts more load on the left bearing. These are a bolt in style bearing and they are fairly easy to replace.

If you think you would like to give it a try let me know and I'll get you some instructions.

My daughter has a 2006 nissan sentra about 6 months ago she hit a curb with the front passenger side tire we replaced the tire rim but its making a loud humming noise any advise would be greatly...

That loud humming noise you are hearing is the wheel bearing. After hitting the curb the bearing took a hit and became a little wobbly and over time the grease has seeped out and started causing the humming. So just replace the wheel bearing and anything else that might be loose or damaged like the tie rod and ball joints. if those issues are not corrected it might happen again down the road. good luck and glad to shed some light on your issue

They now have a bearing assembly, you replace the unit as one. The humming sounds like a Blazer I did last week. Same noise/humming over 25MPH..? Sounds just like road/tire noise. Hope this helps.

It's the tire pressure monitor. Inflate your tires to the proper pressure.

Wierd noise

Sounds like a wheel bearing going, or gone. Possible tire/alignment, but more than likely, wheel bearing. You going to fix, or have it fixed?
