ok, its a CRD diesel, common rail diesel. we have no books on it here, nor car. my guess near same car as our Liberty
does car drive ok? engine run ok, and all things on car work ok but your listed items?
So the alarm is failing.
So the doors unlock ok, with the key fob, but then the alarm goes off. Id say, it needs help. get car serviced, or at least scanned.
if both key fobs fail, (do you have both, if no OOPS) get it serviced.
so does engine start and run, after unplugging horn.

if no , then battery is dead.

Where the fuel pump is or whether it has a fuel pump depends on whether it is an older diesel (non crd) or a newer one. Even when they first started using the common rail diesel they didn't have a pump in the tank but installed them in later models when they realized that the low pressure pump attached to the camshaft wasn't strong enough to pull the fuel out of the tank.

if you've replaced the power steering pump to no avail,then i would look towards a bad power steering rack. the rack could be clogged or just a bad power steering rack,located under the jeep. at the center of the front end under the motor,just to rear of the engine.do you see it leaking at any point? if the pumps good,then i would go to the rack next.however i can suggest this if you choose to.these guys are great about helping people,call 1-865-691-3400 it's just jeeps

you can buy one on ebay.

Check the glow plug rail, Its easy to do, get a thick electric cable and hold it on the positive side of the battery and then onto the Rail connecting the glow plugs, do this for 20-30 seconds and try to start the engine, or better still get a friend to start the engine while you hold the cable on.
Diesel engines work on heat and compression, so if your glow plugs are weak then you wont get the heat needed to create combustion.
