If its like my 2001 there's two bolts that U need to remove and the headlight housing looks like it should come out. Then just twist the low beam connector and remove bulb and replace.

Hope this helps

SOURCE: both dop beam low beam headlights have gone out

I have a similar problem with my 55 plate 93.
I go to Halfords and by a pair of H7s (two for one offer, replace BOTH at the same time and keep the old 'good' bulb as a get out of jail.

No one seems to know what the answer is.. or do they?

I have a 2005 nissan altima one low beam does not work drivers side i tried connection and a new bulb

There are two fuses, but you have one for each side and they handle both high and low beam circuits.
You should have power on the red yellow wire coming from the multi-function switch going to the low beam on the driver side.

How to change the low beam bulb on driver and passenger sides

the low beam bulb is one with the high beam ,so you need to replace the headlight bulbs, its hard to believe they both went at the same time,i would buy one and replace it if lights still don't work than you might have other issues like maybe a blown fuse.

2004 Nissan Altima passenger side low beam

Hi,
Just a thought... If with the bulb not burning, you can verify that the voltage supply wire is "hot" and you know the bulb is good, you probably just have a grounding issue. If you can check the ground wire against the hot wire and get voltage, I'd suspect the problem is in the bulb socket or socket connection.
I bet you can figure it out... :o)
Hope this helps... I hate paying big bucks for dealership repairs too. Good luck!

No low beam head lights

If you just want to replace the bulb yourself, this is a good website.
http://www.paulstravelpictures.com/Nissan-Altima-Headlight-Bulb/Nissan-Altima-Passenger-Side-Headlight.htm
If the website does't get your headlight fixed... You might have a blown fuse. It could be in the IPDM E/R location under the hood. This is next to the coolant bottle. Remove the coolant bottle with two screws and lift the cover to the IPDM E/R. Just set the coolant bottle aside for now. The low beam fuses are 49 and 50. They are 15A fuses. To be more precise, they are located on row 2, columns 2 and 3 (column 1 being closest to the fender of the car). Hope this helps.

Passenger side low beam headlight on a 2002 nissan altima

when you got the spark chances are you shorted the receptacle for the bulb on the low side you should check the fuse for this . the drivers side low beam worked before so i would say you blew the fuse. on the passenger side check for broken ,frayed ,or loose wires in the light harness and the plugs them selves chances are you will find a short in them. please rate this solution
