Best thing to do under this situation is take the car to the local dealership that works with this specific brand... have their mechanics tell you exactly what they are and what they mean when they light up...

not sure but just a tip if the car is manual (as opposed to automatic transmission) then they could be shifting dummy lights (basically showing that your have enough RPM's to shift up or drop down a gear)

What does it mean when the ABS and ESP BAS lights all come on and stay on?

Sounds as if you have a defective Steering Wheel Clockspring. (Steering wheel must come off, including airbag,) then you'll have access to Clockspring module. I would FIRST attempt a steering wheel re-set, by turning the wheel all the way to the right. All the way to the left. Turn off key, and turn key on again, and repeat. This will RESET these lights. Should you have a Clockspring problem, the lights will come back on very quickly. Okay. The BIG, SCARY, part...is removing that airbag module. You MUST remove negative battery cable for at least 10 minutes or so, before attempting to remove the bag assembly. Keep your FACE, Jaw, etc., out of front front of that bag module. Please read about this procedure on Youtube, before proceeding. Practice, if you will, at the Salvage yard on a similar model.

When steering wheel in the 12 0'clock position the dash lights go out in two places on the steering wheel. Come back on at 1 and 11 o'clock?

No year make and model. What dash lights? Is it dash or steering wheel lights? Never seen this. The only light I know of that comes on in the dash, because of the steering wheel is the airbag light. Bad clock spring.

I HAVE NO REAR LIGTHS NORE BREAK LIGTHS NORE THE DASH BOARD

First check fuses. The parking lights and dash lights come on with the light switch, but have different fuses. if you have front lights( the switch is good), but no rear, check the grounds in the rear. They are usually mounted to the frame on the drivers side rear. As for the dash they have their own grounds. Places I know are at the steering column and behind the drivers side kick panel. You could also have problems at the plugs them selves, Corrosion. If you have no parking, brake, or reverse lights, it is a ground problem.

2003 santa fa wont start, the dash board lights are on and the radio is playing but the car won't turn over. The key turns in the ignition with no resistance, we had to disconnect the battery to save it.

That means the linkage rod fell off your key cylinder. (this happens whenever someone tries to steal your car) the push rod presses your ignition switch. If you know how to pull your steering wheel off, you can replace the key cylinder (if some of the casting is broken) by going to a junkyard. Get a cylinder with a key (you can make copies of the new key later) If the key cylinder was ok then just reattach the rod and put the steering wheel back on (being careful to keep the wheels facing forward before you remove the steering wheel so that you put it back the same way)

I am having a horrible grinding sound and vibration in my brake pedal and i can sometimes feel it in my steering wheel while turning. My ABS and Trac Off lights keep coming on as well. I got the left...

i would make sure you had the correct axle installed when it was replaced. being that you feel it in your steering wheel tat means it's definatly coming from the front wheels. since you say that the mil lights are coming on i would lean towards the wheel bearings if the speed sensors are part of the wheel bearing hub. i would have a scanner put on the car and see what wheel is throwng the code and go from there.

The airbag light comes on in the dash cluster

Ummm, a broken airbag is a big deal to me! I like my head, and want to keep it un-smashed. My airbag light started coming on when I was driving and turned corners. Turned out my clockspring connector was broken. A replacement was around $130 and was very easy to install. Just disconnect the negative on your battery, then pull the airbag module by removing the two (I think) 8mm bolts from behind the steering wheel then pull the airbag off and carefully remove the connectors from the back of the airbag. Now (I'm going from memory here...) use an impact wrench to back off the steering nut, and use the puller to get the wheel off. Last, remove the screws connector and pop off the old clockspring. Put the new one on (Don't forget to pull the retainer AFTER you install the new clockspring) and reassemble everything else. The wheel is keyed so it only goes on one way, don't force it, the wheel nut will seat the wheel.

Left running lamps, cruise control, horn do not operat and air bag dash light on

Hello. Is your ABS light on?Do you hear a click noise when you turn the steering wheel? If it is,you probably have a faulty clockspring. That electronic piece controls all of those things. The clockspring is located behind the steering wheel. You have to remove the steering wheel in order to access the clockspring. MAKE SURE that the steering wheel is straight ahead before you remove it.
