Question about 1995 Chevrolet Silverado 2500

I have a gmc sierra 3500 6.5 turbo diesel and the only head lights i have are brights. I changed the dimmer switch and still the same results. the switch is new.

The high beam turn signal cruise control switch in the steering column will do exactly this. we just replaced ours in our tahoe. we had only high beams also.

My 1995 GMC 3500 parking lights keep blowing the fuse. I replaced the light switch/dimmer. not fixed.
Try replacing the relay. or check the ground throughout the wiring.

I need to know what the cyl head torque and rocker arm torque is for a 1998 6.5 L GM turbo diesel.
Cylinder head bolts are done in 3 steps. Step 1 - 20 ft.-lbs
Step 2 - 50 ft.-lbs
Step 3: Tighten an additional
90 degrees.
Lifter guide plate bolts 18 ft-lbs
Rocker arm shaft bolts 40 ft-lbs

When dash lights don't work odds are the tail lights don't work either.Sounds like Dimmer switch may be a problem.

Truck just shuts off
I own the same 3500 GMC 6.5 diesel truck with the same problem. We replaced the brain under the upper turbo hood and it fixed it pronto. No more shutoffs

Where is the Back up light switch ??
Switch is located on the driver side of tranny on top. There will be two wires going into it.
