Use Menthol Hydrate ...blow out after wards ....if they froze ...you might of cracked your block ....is your rad froze up too ? are the hoses frozen also ? or is it just slushy ....if just slushy ...you might be lucky ....if your rad is slushy ...remove it ..and thaw it out ...clean all hoses ....ect ....and clean thermostat area too ...when you remove your thermostat ....feel inside to see if it is froze up too ...or just slush ....
If you have access to a garage ....with heat ....thaw it out ..may take a few days .....then you can just flush your entire system ..after it's all thawed out ....hope fully you did not crack the block ...remove your rad cap as soon as you can so when it can expand ...get your entire vehicle in heat as soon as possible ...

If your heater core hoses are frozen you should immediately drain the coolant out of your radiator and engine and refill it with the proper mixture. Your lucky if your heater core lines are the only thing that froze, it could have popped a freeze plug or two out of the block. You could use a hair dryer or heat gun if you need to unfreeze it quickly.

2000s10rz2 radiator froze up and now its thawed NO HEAT??

-Yes. If it's frozen. There is no water can run through the heater core. That's why no heat.
-How do you know it's frozen...? Did put just water into it. No antifreeze at all ? If so then it can crack the radiator or even the engine block as well.
Good luck

I have a 2001 intrigue and it starts but i think there is frozen water in my radiator and block

try to run it a little at a time to thaw it out just 30 secents or so if your lucky your block didn't crack or your soft plugs didn't come out you will have a water leak if they did you need antifreeze you can get some and pour it in but will need heat of some kind to thaw it running to long frozen will wreck your waterpump so go slow

How do i fix my windshield wiper fluid if its frozen in the lines inside the walls of my 2000 Toyota Rav4?

You canstart your car and let it heat up on its own, it will eventually get thawed, or you can remove the lines and thaw them out indoors using warm tap water. The pump can freeze and bust as will the tank, so inspect those too when you get the lines thawed out.

How to thaw frozen pipes

stick a heater under your house connected to a long extension cord some distance away from the heater, water leaks should be expected, so try to place it where there is no chance for it to get wet: WATER + ELECTRICTY = SHOCK OR DEATH. make sure to be prepaired to shut off the water to your house. If there is a chance the heater has got wet, unplug it from a distance, hence using a long extension cord connected to a far away outlet.

How to thaw frozen pipes

I use a small electric heater, place it underneith your house in the crawspace, close your crawlspace door. Make sure heater isn't in contact with anything, leave some room around your heater so it don't melt or burn anything, and wait for a short while. WARNING: your pipes probably are busted, and when they thaw will spray water everywhere. Try to place your heater where it won't get wet when this major flood happens. WATER + ELECTRICITY = SHOCK OR DEATH. Make sure if water leaks do occur, unplug your heater and don't get around any water untill your heater is disconnected just to be super safe. BE PREPARED TO SHUT OFF WATER TO THE HOUSE.. so i would have the tools ready and the cutoff exposed to make a quick run to turn off your water. If the frozen pipes are underground, you might want to wait till the temp raises above freezing, or as i hate to inform you, dig up the lines and replace them. It isn't a bad idea to use a heater to keep your lines warm during winter, or use some heat wrap. I used to just let my water run a small trickle in all my spigots like bathtup, kitchen faucets, and lavitory faucets anytime i think they may freeze up.. Hope this helps although its posted in wrong catagory.

My truck runs on propane after filling I discovered the regulator was frozen. How do I thaw it?

Fix the gas leak that is allowing the liquid propane to escape. Turn off the gas tap at the regulator and the unit will thaw out by it self. Regulators work by allowing the liquid to become gas which the engine runs on and in this process the temperature drops dramatically. Normally there are radiator hoses that keep the regulator heated to prevent the icing

I have a 2000 voyager that my water pump went, i lost all the coolant, so i just added water. the temp was out side 10 - 15. the temp is still the same. i went out to start my van, the serpentine belt...

If you do not have acess to a warm garage so you can though the van out properly,it is going to be tough. One can only asume that if the radiator is half full of frozen watter and the bottom rad hose is frozen as well that the block will be half frozen also. You need to remove the radiator, hoses and thermostate.Plug in block heaters, put about half a bottle of strate ANTI- FRE.... in the engine where you took the thermostat from. Place an adiquet drip pan under watter pump area.Thaw Radiator and hoses out in a warm plase.Once the block is thawed out you can install the radiator and hoses and a new belt.If you think it is taking to long to thaw out the engine block you can purchase a heater that will stick to the bottom of the oil pan they are magnetic and very strong, the more heat the better.Good Luck.
