Plymouth breeze window not working on passenger side

You most likely have a bad actuator. Put a test light on the motor side power wire and see if its getting power. You Can also put direct power to the window motor to see if it will operate and if it goes up or down with direct power than you gave a break in the switch wiring. A broken ground wire is also a reason it will not function.

The electric rear sliding window does not work. Where is the fuse located? 2005 Ford F 150 Lariat Crew cab.

If the power windows still work, it is not a fuse issue, they share the same fuse ( F401 form the accessory delay relay )

Either the switch or the motor is the cause.

When you press the button to the close direction ( with the window closed ) do the lights dim ( headlamp / interior lamps ) ?
If they do, the window is getting power in that direction, so it could be the switch for the open direction or the motor, or something in the track.

If you pull down the overhead console ( the non rail one is open the sun glass compartment, and pull down on each rear corner, it is held up with spring clips ) the wires to the slider are Red w/ yellow stripe and yellow w/ light blue stripe.
If you apply power to these wires, one direction is open, the reverse is close. Test direct to the wires to know if the slider motor is the issue or the switch.

Check the entire track for obstructions

To get the slider motor, you need to remove the rear seat back

My 1996 LS 400 appears to have a widespread electrical problem. It happened suddenly. No dash lights, AC/heater are out, electrical windows not working. Can't shift it out of park. Engine cranks just fine....

Always go directly to the ground and check it is clean and well connected. I speak mainly here of the body grounds. Battery to starter is fine cause it cranks well and headlights are operable, it's just the battery ground to the body that's giving you trouble. When electrical problems arise, Always go directly to the grounds first.

My 2000 Durango electrical/wiring problems...

The power lock problem is definately the electric lock actuator in the door. Replace it.
The power window problem could be the switch or the motor.
Put a test light on the motor connections. Operate the power window switch up and down. If the light works both directions, then replace the motor. If the light only lights one direction, then replace the switch... and you still might have to replace the motor afterward so do not think that replacing the switch is absolute. They sometimes fail together.

My driver side window will not roll back up

You need to remove the door panel and make sure you are geting power to the window motor. The best way to do this is to use a test light and loop the test light in the window motor connector with it unplugged from the motor and work the switch up and down.If the test light lights up in both directions the motor needs to be replaced. You should also inspect the regulator for damage. If the test light does not light in one or either direction you may have a bad switch.

My driver's side power window does not work. When

he window is controlled by four main parts; the window motor, the window regulator, the part that holds the window and the control switch. When you move the switch one way or the other, an electrical current is sent to the window motor forcing the window to go up or down depending on the direction of the switch. Most window control systems are powered by a thermo fuse. A thermo fuse will cut power to the window circuit if too much electrical draw is being used. This serves as a safety device and helps keep the wiring from overloading due to over usage. Always wear protective safety goggles and gloves before work begins. (Warning: some electric window regulators are equipped with a helper spring that can have tension, use caution when disassembling)

Electric window stops working then starts

THE WINDOW SWITCH IS A POSSIBLE CAUSE ALSO THE WINDOW MOTOR HAS A CIRCUIT BREAKER BUILT INTO IT AND CAN CAUSE THE SAME SYMPTOMS. USING A TEST LIGHT AT THE WINDOW MOTOR CONNECTOR, LOOP THE TEST LAMP TO THE TERMINALS TO TEST THE SWITCH OPERATION. IF IT WORKS IN BOTH DIRECTIONS CONSISTENTLY THE PROBLEM IS IN THE WINDOW MOTOR.

Electric window

if the window went down o/k. and the r/h side is o/k it sounds like the switch faulty.a quick test is to leave the interior light on and operate the switch to lower the window if you see the interior light dim slightly this confirms the motor is trying to work.being a d/c motor if it runs one way it must run in oppsite direction.and i would swop switces to confirm..
