This is either a bad oil pressure switck or the oil pressure is too low. the low pressure is caused by a stopped up oil strainer or a bad oil pump.

SOURCE: my oil light is staying

I have a vw bora tdi which in tank diesel pump is playing, so i replaced it with a new one. 5mins after i got it going, it started to gushing diesel from the engine somewhere underneth the diesel filter. can anybody help please

Oil light flashing and beeps. it only comes on after driving a min or two
Make sure there is enough oil in it! This is the main reason the oil light comes on flashing and beeping. Possibly a faulty oil sensor if the oil level id fine.
