It may be that, however, I will give you the instructions on how to do a simple test to see if it is inside the instrument cluster itself or the problem is somewhere else.

The test isolated the problem. I had to replace the instrument cluster. I replaced it with a used one from a parts supplier. The speedo now works. However, I do have one other problem. When we replaced the cluster, the mileage changed. A lot. I thought the mileage would be saved in the ECU, but it appears not. I now have 26,000 additional miles on my car. Does any company or service change the mileage to the correct number? I am stumped.

2005 Chrysler 300 touring code p0717

That code covers a lot of different transmission problems, but the one that you can do something about is the transmission speed sensor. Does your speedometer work? If yes there may be a problem in the transmission valve body and you need to visit a transmission shop. I don't see any Tech Bulletins on this. Look at the wiring on the right side of the transmission is everything plugged in and if yes it may be the sensor itself.

How much would it cost to replace engine valves on a Chrysler 300 m

Depends on whether you are doing the work or a shop doing the work. If you are doing it, it's the cost of the valves, head gaskets and whatever else you need. If the shop is doing it, call them for an estimate.

2005 Chrysler 300 2.7 v6 Overheat an started knocking an car just cut of

ask a local mechanic to have a look but from your description i would say that you have cooked the engine and new head gaskets are the minimum amount of work required if not a head skim as well .

Tac works, mileage counter works but speedometer quit working...any ideas before I take it to the dealer?

if the odometer qorks but the speedo dont then you have a bad guage.look online for speedometer or instrument cluster repair places they will probably be cheaper but you will have to change it out yourself. the dealer is the best place to go for such things though.

How do I fix the automatic doors on my 2005 town and country? Both sides no longer work. Any idea of how much it would cost if I took it to a repair shop?

It depends what is wrong with them. The 2 most common things I see is door track wiring, and bad door latchs. Either one is about a medium expense. Look at spending $200-300 per door depending what is wrong.

Code P0406 egr valve faulty needs replaced

well,if you know how to install the egr valve,i recommend doing it youself because the part is NOT covered under dealer warranty.i have an 05 300 limited and had this work done.the total cost will be between $480 - $600 dollars at the dealership.if you know a competent mechanic, take it there instead.the part cost around $200 dollars.
