The issue is toyota, honda, mazda, etc (Japan based cars) made their cars without many options to save on cost. For this reason, power windows were standard, as that's what most people want, and manual windows either were not offered, or only on a rare few specific applications. You may consider looking at different years that may be compatible with it.

Where is the window fuse 2000 Toyota Camry

There is a circuit breaker. They rarely go bad. If one window works it is good. If the drivers window is not working. It could be the window motor/regulator or the master switch, since this is the window that is worked the most.

WHEN I ROLL UP THE DRIVER FRONT WINDOW IT GOES UP THEN ROLLS HALF WAY DOWN BY ITSELF

Hi there,

If manual window winder

Your driver's window glass may have come off the regulator mechanism.

If electric window control

The glass may have detached from the regulator or the regulator cable has unwound itself off the mechanism (ie tension during upward motion, but loose when motor stops winding).

Your driver's door panel will need to be removed to inspect your window regulator operation.

I have a 2000 Toyota Camry. The back, driver side window slides down on its own. Had someone to brace it in the up position so it wouldn't slide down. How can this be repaired? Thanks.

glass has gotten out of the window regulator track or a broken window regulator. have to remove door panel and now need to know if its power windows or hand rollup windows. if manual you will need to remove handle by removing c-clip from behind the handle.

My Saturn dealer told me I needed to replace the regulator in the passenger rear door for the electric window to operate properly. The Saturn is a 2000 LS2. I did not like the price they gave me for the...

You can pull the panel and move the window regulator manually to put the window back up. If you can get that far you may as well get the regulator from a boneyard an put it in. You will need a grinder to get the rivets out and some bolts to put it back in. If you don't change the regulator, make sure you unplug the motor inside the door because it may work in "down" mode but not up. You don't want to have to do it again. Or you could check Ebay for the regulator. Good luck.

Replace window regulator and motor. Procedure: Remove inside door panel, cut regulator wires, raise window manually and hold in place, undo bolts holding window glass to regulator, undo bolts holding regulator to door-frame, remove regulator. Reverse to install.

1994 toyota camry window clicking

The 2" diameter white pulley is part of the regulator. That is what the cable rides on to raise & lower the window, and it is critical to the operation of the window. Replace the regulator assembly.
