Check your fan motors unplug the wires in the back of the motor take 2 wires from the battery one positive one negitive to the plug on the actual motor connect the power direct you cant di it wrong it will only go backwards so your taking the power from the battery directly to the fans see if they work.remember 2 wires 1 from the positive to the fan plug connect to 1 prong. other from the negitive to the other prong fans will kick on if there good.if there good plug back in as b 4,make sure your temp gauge is working, fuses, relays

How to Plug Fan Control Module Timer ?

To Help some of the guy that has the Fan Control Module Timer !

Check on Wiring Diagram of the Car and Find the Positive Wire that go to the Low Speed Fan ( On Car with A/C ) or typically the powersource wire that go from the fuse box to the fan and connect the required wire on your module that is explained in your plan !

Example :

Pontiac Grand Prix GTP 1999 w/ 3.8 Supercharged

Find the Dark Green/White wire under the dash in the car near the steering wheel column and connect the wire from the module on it !

Replaced water pump and its still getting hot 1999 pontiac grand am

Thermostat is stuck closed or your electric fan is not cutting on.I would replace the thermostat first and if it still overheats then the coolant temperature sensor is more than likely why the fan is not cutting on.

I have a 99 pontiac grand prix the DRL's work but the headlight and brights dont work i have replaced the bulbs the fuse and the breaker switch as well as the switch nothing seems to work even checked...

With the Key in the RUN position, check for battery voltage on the brown wire in connector 2 terminal H at the DRL module. Also check for battery voltage on the pink wire terminal C of the same connector. if you see battery voltage, then the IGN switch and the two fuses supplying power to the DRL are working fine.

Next, check the brown wire in connector 1 terminal H at the DRL module for battery voltage

if the fan doesnt blow and thats the problem you're talking about check your owners manual to see which fuse runs the fan if it's good chances are the blower motor is out and will need to be replaced

1997 Grand Am GT 4cyl., Electric Fan doesn't seem to be coming on, what to check before replacing? P.S. Car has been setting for about two years, but running fine then.

check to see if the fan is not frozen up...if not then check temp fan switch on engine should be by top radiator hose or top of radiator

High beams work but low beams do not. Fuses seem to be good

Hi

I would start with the dimmer switch if you know the lights are good dimmer switches do this you will lose your high beam or you will lose your low beam when they go bad.

1999 heater fan

The Blower motor (heater fan) is under the dash on the passenger side of the car. there is a panel that has to be removed to get at the fan and can be removed with a small pry bar and patience. before the fan gets removed, check the fuses first, also check the motor by disconnecting the wires going to it and putting power directly to it (this will take some small wires to do). By doing all of this, you will determine if the blower motor is actually the problem. if the fan works when it has direct power, then the problem is someplace else.
