Subaru outback wagon tail light not working off

There are several components of your 1997 Subaru Outback that can cause your tail lights to stop functioning correctly. To help pinpoint the cause of the problem, it would be very helpful to also check your front marker lights. If the marker lights are working, then we know that the problem is not the headlamp switch or the tail and illumination relay (located in the fuse and relay box).

The components to check are:

> Fuse #23 (20 Amp) in the Main Fuse Box.
> Fuse #5 (10 Amp) in the Fuse and Relay Box
> Tail And Illumination Relay
> Headlamp Switch

Need a fuse box diagram for a 1995 Subaru Legacy to locate the hazard light relay fuse

I take it that either the inside of the fuse box lid is unreadable or is missing. What I would do is fine the closest junk yard and find a car like yours and look inside to see if the diagram is still there. Otherwise you'll have to buy a manual from a parts store. Sometimes if your lucky, you can go to the dealer and they will actually make a copy of the diagram page you need. I hope this info helps.

The hazard lights on my 1993 subaru loyale are not

Both the turn signal and hazard warning flashers are mounted on the fuse panel.

REPLACEMENT
To remove a relay, simple pull the relay out. When installing a relay, make sure the terminals on the relay line up with the terminals in the fuse panel.
Most of the replaceable fuses for the electrical system are located on the fuse panel under the instrument panel, to the left of the steering column. In addition to the plastic fuses installed in the fuse box, there are 1 or more circuit breakers and a flasher relay.

For access to the fuse panel, remove the fasteners from the lower edge of the cover, then pull the cover downward until the spring clips disengage from the instrument panel. On the base models, the cover simply snaps on and off.

The locations of various fuses are illustrated in the owner's manual, and in some cases, on the cover of the fuse panel (in the pic check inside the circle).

Hope that helps.
