No, you have to know the code if you want to use the factory radio again, if you switch to an aftermarket radio, you wont have to worry about messing up the security settings

You can't just throw a ECU in the car it must be programmed by the dealer or any shop with the right equipment to flash the ECU The ECU also controls the factory secuity system, that is what the symbol means, the secuity system is triggered..
